How To Get Here
Our visitors come from all over the world, but once in Scotland, travel to the Isle of Skye can be by one of the following:
By car: Probably the most popular because it is more convenient for exploring the Island. Car hire is available on the Island and, of course, at the airports should you be flying into Inverness or Glasgow.
Train or Scottish Citylink Coach: Many people like to travel by train or coach, and what better way than to sit back and enjoy the splendour of some of the most stunning scenery in the world?
Your train will drop you off in Kyle of Lochalsh, where you can either hire a taxi or hop on the service bus, which will take you over the Skye Bridge to Kyleakin then drop you off at the front door of Crannog Lodge.
Should you travel by coach, whether direct from Inverness or from Glasgow via Fort William and Kyle of Lochalsh again, you will be taken straight to the door of Crannog Lodge in Kyleakin.
Or why not tie your yacht up at the Kyleakin Marina and spend a few days ashore in Crannog Lodge before your onwards sea journey to the outer or inner Hebrides.
